The place of laughter

I read the book the place of laughter. So far from what it read the book is about an unusual circus that comes to town. This circus was unusual because the didn't pass out flyers, didn't announce that the circus was coming, and also they came to set up in the middle of the night.

In the 19th century Pierre de Coubertin had a life goal to create a sporting culture. In 1896 his goal kind of came true because of the first Olympic games. In ancient Greece people in the Olympics were seen as important preparation for war.
